Default Motor Mounts- Welded Steel or Billit Aluminum?

I'm about to buy mounts for my b18 swap. Give me your opinion based on EXPERIENCE and theory if you feel the need. Which is better and why? Any brands I should avoid due to clearance, shift linkage, or plain poor quality issues? Are the cheap $150 eBay mounts sufficient? Are high priced billit mounts a waste of money? Thank you for your thoughts and advice.

abaz has a nice billet set for sale in the classifieds right now for a set. buy those. good price for billet aluminum mounts.

i meen i dont know anyone who has a problem with hasports billet mounts, but they are very pricey. i have had steel mounts(old school hasport knock offs) on my car for 4 years now... and there still holding up fun, and the engine possition is perfect. so keep that in mind when perchasing a set

werd....i bought some welded ones for $150, held up to the worst wheel hop ever, and i didnt have to notch the hood webbing either
i bought them on e-gay about 2 years ago someone in NY

I have Hasport mounts also. Lots of vibration. But helps haul *** when needed...
