I bought the Prothane insert kit and installed them last night on the mounts.

Motor isn't in the car yet though but I really like these inserts, I used some Poly in there as well as the inserts just to make sure everything was sealed up. you can definetly see it will make a big difference.

Next step, install all these bushing from the ES hyper flex kit..FUN!

I'm rocking the ES monts, I dig them, for they are pretty cheap. Easy and quick install, no dry time... definately helps wheel hop...

prothane's are the same type of insert and just as easy to install, but MUCH stiffer, i've had the two side by side for comparison and felt like an *** for wasting money on the es one's. i believe the prothane's are even cheaper as well.

use the ES, only need the rear set, also the worst to install!!!!!!!!!

The fronts just make the car vibrate..........so bad parts fall off!!!!!!!!!

FITV backs out also.

No wheelhop, no more missed 3rd gear either.

The rear AND the front mounts handle the torque, I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to do the front..

I just finished all mine yesterday, can't wait to get them on the car and get the motor in. P.S. It's much easier to get at the rear mount when there's no motor in the car.

yeah, i'm sure everyone runs urethane mounts b/c they like parts to fall off and fitv's to back out lol, maybe you should put your car together better if you're having those problems

haha, owned. (bbka's been running solid poly jimfabs for a long time, nothings fallen apart)

so yeah i got the front two inserts in today, mickey mouse ---- that slips over the rubber and has ziptie holder things.

BUT, they work. Drivers mount was completely broken , had to put the bushings in and then re-insert the center piece. Passenger was ready to break, lots of cracks thru the rubber n stuff. Got the two put back in and they feel alot more solid, vibration isnt too bad really, and i can feel that i have more traction at a launch from them putting the ole '86 on the hop.

review - these get a good woo woo
