Default misfiring,, help

i just got my 14b on my zc in an 88dx,,, it was running alright for the first 2 days. I go on the 3rd day to start it up and its throwing a code 9 (1cylnder position) and code 4 ( crank angle sensor) and it is misfiring like a bitch. any where above idle it starts to misfire and run like total dick almost stalling. I check t belt and all marks line up, ive checked like 30 times. so since i was throwing a code 4 i got a new crank angle sensor. i hooked it up and still misfires,, to make sure there was no bad wiring i wired it outside of the car directly to the sensor and it still did the same. On and off its been throwing these codes. I even swaped ecus to check if mine was bad. My wiring is all good and timing is good. Im thinking of just replaceing the distributor. I have no idea why its still throwing a code 4 when i replaced that sensor. How can i get rid of the code 4 and 9.

Thanks

did u use shielded wire from the sesor to the ecu,and did u reset the ecu after replacing the sensor and rewiring, pull off the cap and check for play in the shaft and if there is alot of dirt get some electrical component cleaner and clean it out

crank angle sensor.. works by seeing when something from the crank, or rotating matter goes by it. try clean the contact points on the rotating part.

I have the same problem when i did my LS vtec swap and Misfire like crazy man I was so stress out trying trouble shoot one sfter another code just kelt on poping up and I finally went and swap out my old Distributor. the stupid distributor pick up core was bad I found one that was still good but the shell was really bad so I swap the internals man it was pain adjusting it to fire correctly ....So my advice to you is to just get another Distributor. save your time and don't stress over it ...U welcome...
