hey i just put in a minime in my crx si and it dosent idol right when i start it, it jumps up to like 3000 and then after a couple of secs it shuts off wut could it be i also dont have a map sensor yet could that be the problem

 

LOL yes. Out of many problems, that could be it.

 

could it be any other major problems y that would happen

 

Fix the obvious and go from there.

 

alright thanks and i ahve one ? about the map sensor it had a plug my old mani didnt have the map sensor wut plug will go into the map sensor

 

The map sensor should either be on the throttle body or firewall, don't know about crx's. your last post was really confusing though, try to rephrase it clearly so I can understand.

 

ok i put a vtec head on and my old throttle body 90 si didnt have a map sensor on it and the vtec has it on the tb and i was wondering where do i get the plug to plug into the map sensor on the vtec head

 

your 90 si throttle body had a map it was a vacuum nippele on it. For the plug look on the firewall there is sensors there look for the one that says map sensor assembley on it pull the plug and run the plug to the new throttle body map sensor mounted on the throttle body there is your map sensor signal

 

oh its some ---- on the fire wall on the pass side with two plugs and it has some vacum lines going to it right

 

also some guys told me that when u do a mini me that on the block there is some jet that shoots oil up into the haed they said that i had to remove that because the vtec head demands more oil is that true or its just a waste of time
