Re:mini me swap question

1. no
2. yes
3. no, remove oil jet from the block.
4. no
5. not much better then an a6.. just turn the boost up a hair?

http://crx.honda-perf.org/articles/z6swap/z6swap.html

I would use a y8 head cuz the a6 dist bolts straight on.

Answers:
#1. Yes and no. It will work, but not without some "modifications". Depends on how ghetto/cheap you are. :-\

#2. Yes.

#3. You have to take the oil jet out of your block. It's located in the center. You'll know what it is when you take the head off.

#4. No.

#5. Yes. It will rip the tires off the rims leaving you spinning your rims in a huge cloud of smoke. Have fun. :)

Re:mini me swap question

I would just get the right distributor. I've seen some butch setups when people don't want to use the right distributor. :-\ You'll thank yourself later.

Re:mini me swap question

come on renr we all know that the higher compression of the mini me makes it able to hold more boost. mine eats 15 to 17 psi daily
