LS by FAR. LS starts out with as much as a Mini-Me in HP, but has more TQ. The Ls will handle probably 12-15 psi of boost stock the D will only take about 10.

thats not true. ive seen some D16 that handle 12-15 psi of boost. the key is tuning.

I concur, It really comes down to how ghetto/nice you want it to be. I sell the parts for the swap and my ls-t crx costs me money out the ***....its all up to you but I vote for the LS by far

id go mini me, cost fo repair is way less. thats te key, cause you ill break everything if you turbo it. a ls motor is garbage. tq smorque

d series make nice tq too. the heads flow better and the trannis has better gear spacing imo as long as its a ex/si tranny.

i say mini me. i had one, boosted the ---- out of it * built 18 psi) and never had a prob.

Thanks for the info guys. It is greatly appreciated. I think I am going to go a6/z6 with a 14b. Cause like you said d is cheap an I have alot of d parts an since it starts out with about the same power I will be good while I get some of my turbo parts. I will be going stock turbo for a while cause I cant afford building right now (school) that is why I put up the post. So thanks again for all the input.
