Is it possible to do a mini-me (D16Y8 head)onto the D15B1 block?also who has done it before and who can tell me whats involved and what i need..etc,IM gonna boost it also anyone can help it is greatly appriciated also if its easier to e-mail me its:Carznmore@aol.com thanks alot

 

is the d16b1 16 valve?
i found two sites with contradicting specs. one said 8 valve and one 16v.
also, do you know the compression and if it's mpfi or dpfi?

 

No its a D15B1 motor and it has DPFI for now and beleive its a 16V

 

i wouldnt boost it....very weak rods.

 

google has a lot of stuff. basically you need new gaskets, new timing belt, and a vtec switch.

 

I boosted a d15 at 11 psi runs like a **** almost pulled on an s 2000 yesterday!!! Dam tires and clutch would not stick :P Only put about 200 mi on it so far but runs strong and the rods are still inside Used GHD for managment

 

My d15b1 4spd STD has been mini-me'd. Just run a search on google.com "mini-me vtec" many sites come up, pick one that seems the easiest for you to follow. Dont forget to do the mpfi swap as well...your biggest problem is the tranny. The 4spd tranny sucks ***. Try to get an SI tranny. It definitely helps out
