Default mini-me ign. timing

Will a b2,a6/z6 mini-me benifit for a little more timing? I'm turboing my mini-me and I wan't to know if I should just step retard a PM6 ign. map or should I put it on the dyno, then step retard that?

id run like .8 degrees of retard per lb of boost.

a b2 lower end is gonna disintegrate under boost.

To tune timing, you increase timing untill you stop making toque, right?? My question is should I take my mini-me to the dyno, will a 1.0 compression increase benifit from a little timing? or should I just retard a PM6 ign. map? I'm running a PG7 ign. map right now.

Hmm...is that a d15b2 bottom with a d16z6 head? Hope you had a cam gear of some sort to get your marks lined up right. Otherwise your timing will be screwy no matter what you set it at. If that's not the setup, sorry...didn't mean to bust in on the thread.

I ended up cutting notches in the housing and used washers. The base timing is 18btc and the cam timing is set at 4.75 with a stock y8 cam gear.
