d15b8's have 16 valve reliefs.. (even though its a 8 valve engine)

Run the VX timing belt, with (I'm pretty sure an obd2 y8 dizzy will work with an obd1 plug)

you can use your dizzy, but if its a y8 head, I dont think its going to "BOLT" up, you will have to modify one of the legs on the dizzy to get it to bolt down. The Y8 and Z6 dizzys mount differently.

As far as timing belt, I'm pretty sure you have to use the VX T-belt, (that is what I used on a D15b2) but at the same Time I have been seeing guys use pretty odd timing belts with Mini-me's.

I'm not sure, but if the D15b8 uses 107 tooth belt, Pretty sure you will need the 103 tooth vx belt.. Alot of people have. But since your car is an EG, I think it has 104 teeth, so it would be ok. Maybe.. Bolt it on and see if you can get it on.
