are you sure the timing is right? with that belt you would be off by 1 tooth.
you do need to change that ecu for sure or convert the p06 and chip it.

Going from a 70hp D15B8 to a mini-me is a huge difference as long as you changed the manifolds also.

did you remove the oil control jet when you swap the head just a thought

A p28 ECU is a great basemap for a mini-me. The question is, has anybody used a non-vtec ecu on a mini-me and logged wot fuel maps with a wideband o2 to see if the wot maps are lean?

thank for the help guy well i had a z6 and i boosted it and i blow it up then i got a 97 dx ek ... well im using the ex header intake manifold and 2.5 in catback no cat the compressing is 180 190 185 190 and the timing belt proplem im pretty sure it look right to me but then again i might be wrong but everything line up im still using the dx tranny and it seem to be slower then my stock ek dx ill try to get a p28 for sure
