MINI ME FEEL WEAK
hey guy i just done swaping a y8 head onto a d15b8 cx motor i reuse the b8 dizzy and it fit and use a y8 timing belt im runing a po6 ecu for now but it seem so slow almost same as the old cx motor is this because of the ecu does the ecu make a really big diffrent ? thank you

if VTEC isn't working it would feel very similar to how it did before, are you sure its working? can you hear it pop on? and if it is working double and triple check your timing, belt and ignition timing.....it should feel quite a bit better than a stock cx motor, i dont know what the c/r on that set up is, but i know my buddys a6 block/y8 head feels damn near like a b16a, which is nothing like a cx motor imo.....

no the vtec is not on im using a p06 ecu right now ill try to get a p28 and see if it any better thank

A y8 head on a b8 increases the compression to 10.5 (if your using a metal 3 layer HG) and the head flows better. You should feel something. What condition is your engine in (compression, filters, etc.)? Did you advance the cam timing 4.75 degrees? Also, a stock b8 IM and header causes a lot of restriction on a mini-me.
Is a b8 dpfi? Have you swaped to MPFI?
