Mini Me and Dual Point
Hey i have a 91 crx DX and i was reading a little on the mini me swap and i like the idea of it. How bad is it to run the dual point on a mini swap? has anyone ever done this? oh and what are some good resource sites for the mini me project? any info will help. Thanks

Mini-me on DX... yeah it's doable, but please be planning the MPFI swap soon after (within a week or 2). I am going mini-me shortly, but I just did the MPFI swap, so I'm set. The main issue would be getting enough fuel for the vtec... and you'd have to run the PM5 for Throttle body injection, so obviously you'll need an RPM switch or VAFC(why??? on DX, it's ghetto anyway). You have the possibility of running lean if you go to vtec with those 2 crappy injectors.
I'd say it's doable just to get it out of the way for later and I would run vtec until you've got MPFI and more control... but you would be @ 10.6:1 compression, and thus still have more power, even on the small lobe... Jung |

i agree with crx88si, dont waste your time doing those two things and seperate times, just do it all at once and kick ass right from the start. ;D

man if u don't swap to multi point u ain't gonn get that much power the engine will starve
