I was wondering if anyone has any info or links to this setup. Reason being, I am trying to decide on a turbo for my D16A1 engine and came across a good deal on a TD04L-13T from a guy who's swapping out the stock turbo from his WRX. This of course sent my mind pondering an HMT build.
Does anyone have any idea when this turbo will reach boost threshold on a 1.6L?
I are a retard when it comes to reading compressor maps and CFM calculations. Being stock internals, I probably won't boost more than 6 or 7psi (D16A1 is 9.3 CR, IIRC) My HP goals are 160-170 maybe a little less.
What do you think, should I get it, or look for something else. Is this a good turbo for my goals?
