k, i have a GM 2 bar map senser and want to install it. so im going to be unplugging the honda map, so i want to clean up a little and toss it...but there are a coule other little purge valves or some ---- hooked up with all that with vaccum lines. the vaccum line arent hooked up and havent been...ever. so anyway they have a 4pin connector on them, can i toss those too thanks

 

Yup, you dont need them, you can also remove the charcoal canister if you like..

how exactly are you wiring in the gm map sensor and are you using stock ecu?? if the gm sensors work i could slap one on my crx and do a way with the whole afc hack crap and have full tuning abilities with it right.

 

The GM map sensor has to work with a standalone system.. It reads slighly differnt voltages than the Stock sensor.

sorry, i have a standalone engine managment system (Zdyne SECU), it has the GM map sensor ---- as an option, just a couple key strokes and it works (if my ------ laptop worked anyway). anyway Jeff/AbaZ knows that...

 

actually you can pretty much run any map sensor, since you can input the voltage.
