manifold sensor mess (pic)
I just finished my dual point to multipoint conversion but i have a issue with sensor duplicity.
On the CRX firewall i got the stock purge selenoid valve shows on the left, but now on the D16Z6 mani shows on the right i also have the same sensor function. I use the stock dual point harness but I dont know what to do, if i need to cut the plug from the right and extend the purge selenoid one, or make a tee, im really confused ??? http://www.superhonda.com/photopost/.../mani_mess.JPG |

Purge solenoid is some useless ----, don't even worry about it.
Which has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that there are no purge solenoid wires in the DX engine harness - the firewall mounted one is correct. You forgot to cut off/ignore the stupid extra 2p plug that exists on the back of the TBI unit, and no where else in 88-91 ED chassis... double check you haven't gotten IAT wiring mixed up with something else, as you will melt IAT or blow your ECU all to hell in short order. |
