Hmm, i was just worried i would hit it too hard. Does it just need to be broken loose? Cause i had a friend stand on the block while i pulled, that ****** was in there good. Thanks for the quick response jeff.

What are we talking here like a big *** main girdle like on D16's? sometimes they can be a pain to get off, just tap the sides with a hammer, it wont hurt anything, then once it breaks loose just get something to pop it off with, like a screw driver, should come right off. There are dowl pins that is why its not coming right off. Make sure all the bolts are off too

Jeff

Yup just took it off(took a hammer to it! ) Yeah, i saw the dowl pins, then realized thats why it wasnt coming off. The block is fucked, that's why im taking it apart.(presumed spun bearing) . When i took the crank out, I think 2 bearings just fell out lol. So did something else, but i don't know what it is yet. Thanks for your help and quick responses jeff. Sad thing is, it looks like that motor was recently rebuilt. The kid who had it was racing and bounced off the rev limiter while being atleast 2 quarts low on oil. Ill take some pics of everything by tomorrow if not tonight...

Looked like that yea, but the others looked like they were one big piece, looks like this broke off somehow.

Yup, kinda wierd. Think one of those moon looking things can be replaced? or is the block fucked!?
