Default LSD install $$$$

Iv been asking around town and the cheapist price iv got for instaling a limited slip was $450 for the labor
Dose that sound reasonable, or is that over priced

He also quoted me a price for a full rebuild and the limited slip of 1600. He says he would have to do the full gear, not just the syncro and what ever the other stuff is. But he also said he can only get them from acura, dose anyone know anywhere else you can get trany parts??

Never had any trany work done before, so i have no idea what i should be expecting, or should be paying.

$150 labor plus parts, shipping, paypal fees.

Helps to know what I'd be working with, and what damage is done.

Sounds Like a B series tranny, it will get $$$$

lmao..

yea its a 98 ls trany. and the trany is still in the car. the shifting isnt horrible, but when i take the car to red line, the gears will grind some times. but normal driving, no grinding, just hard to put in, sometimes have to force it.

im planing on getting the obx lsd from ebay of course.
