LS turbo problems
i have a b18b with a big 16g running 450dsms on chrome, i just rebuilt it replacing the rings, bearings, ARPs, cometic gasket, complete vavle job seats grind valves and new seals...car hauled *** for about 1500 miles, took it to the track, dynoed it, and now outa no wear its misfiring and smokin alittle, it only misfires on cyl#3 and only when it is fully warmed up, when its cold it idles great and runs great, it started to over heat twice idling and the coolant was low both times
is there any need to retorque the head studs?
i would love to hear ideas, a compression test on the number 3 cylinder was about 90 fully warmed and the #1 cyl was alittle low also, but im not sure my tester broke hah

I would think 90 psi is pretty low even for an LS, compression wise. My stock LS had 170-180 psi across four cylinder before turboing. My susgestion is to pour a little cap full of oil down cylinder 3 and see if it bumps compression up. If it does then I think your rings might have not seated too well. Broken ring lands and rings for me because I guess, my motor didn't like how I positioned them (which was the exact as in the helms). But in all to me it sounds like your rings are probably fuked up. Good luck!
