Ls rods?
Hey, I'm new here, and I dont have a car yet since i'm not 16 yet(I'm close to it).I don't even know what car i'll even end up with.I'll either going for the 95 civic hatch or 2.2 ecotec sunfire...Either way i'm gonna turbo it ...but i was wondering,if i end up with the d-series engine i would like to beef up the engine before boosting. So i was wondering will Ls rods fit in there?i know i am gonna probably have to modify the block but what about the crank? Also what do yall know about nitrous?Does it go together with boost or will it make a big hole in my block?Thanx

i found this a couple threads down, sometimes you just need to look around a litte for info, but i almost guarantee anything you want/need to know, is on this site.

as far as nitrous and boost, yeah, that's fine as long as it's not too big of a shot and you have the fuel management to handle it. a lot of people use nitrous to spool up bigger turbos, so you don't have so much lag, but with the proper size turbo for your engine, you won't need nawwzzzzzzzzz, you can just add more boost as opposed to the nitrous that would have been there
