ls into EF9
alright heres the thing.. I'm going to put a B18a into my crx, have wanted to for awhile... got everything you really need for it, my only question is can I use my stock 91 si wiring harness for it, and a pm6 with a pr3 map from turboedit? or with I need the stock ls harness obd-0, and a pr4 ecu, which would you guys recommend??

Re:ls into EF9
yeah i know that a pr3 is a vtec ecu, sorry about the type-o, so a stock si harness will work and the ecu if rechip with do fine..cool thanks for the input but I can use a pr4 acura ls ecu..it will hook up to the harness right??

Re:ls into EF9
it would be a lot easier to go vtec like I planned, with obd1. I don't want to go through the hassle with wiring it up I just want a plug/play type deal, plus I have seen some pretty quick LS Turbos, and just b18's in general

Re:ls into EF9
everything will plug right up. B18A1's have some sort of plug on the back of the block which i have no idea what it does, so be aware you will have a plug thats not hooked to anything.
If memory serves me correctly, it is a green, 2 prong plug. There are the single banana plug type oil pressure switch and dual banana plug fan switch, and then the extra plug.
I ran my LS swap for months on a PR4 ECU with that plug not plugged in with my factory DX-to-Si converted harness and it never faltered or ran bad. it must not be that important.
does anybody happen to know what the plug is though?
