is it posible to buy a 50mm hex socket? maybe ill try to make one? still cant get it off, all because of my water pump damb it. >:( the good thing it that when the waterpump went the oildrain went too so im kinda lucky i gues. thanks guys

I went through the same headaches with my pulley, so i said the hell with it and went out and paid the $60 for the removal tool from snap-on. I've used it 3 times so far for myself, and whenever i hear of anyone else that needs their's removed, i charge 'em 10 bux to go and remove it for em. Made more than my money back on it. ::)

i've seen them made with the socket and a pipe welded to it. The center hole has to be bored out to allow the 17mm socket through.

I just ordered the snapon tool, hope that works. im getting kinda pissed off now. thank for the advice guys.
