Re:ls crank pully
get a half inch braker bar, go to home depot and buy a 3 inch steel bar, like for fencing you can get like a 4-5 foot section slide it over the breaker bar. loke the flywheel up using a wedge of some kinda and bam you eithe rbreak the bolt or get it off. I had access to a 7 foot TQ wrench capable of thousands of pounds so i was lucky but this method should work too

Re:ls crank pully
julio taught me this last week. we removed 2 crank pulleys this way. remove the starter and use something to get stuck in the flywheel teeth. (we used a small bracket that connects to the driver's side mount)
use a breaker bar with a pipe to extend it for more leverage. worked like a charm. good luck. |

For a hardly used tool, it's a waste. IMO free is better. But if you must, I'm only here to help: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3829910830 |

Re:ls crank pully
I went through the same headaches with my pulley, so i said the hell with it and went out and paid the $60 for the removal tool from snap-on. I've used it 3 times so far for myself, and whenever i hear of anyone else that needs their's removed, i charge 'em 10 bux to go and remove it for em. Made more than my money back on it. ::)
