ok so I just read a post concerning the limits of a b16 on nitrous, but I am wondering what kind of long term effects can be expected with mild nitrous. For example, my D15B7 Civic on about a 50-shot (wet, maybe Zex). Are there any known problems of running this say, one run a week for like 40,000 miles? I also was wondering if my stock clutch would be up the the job, assuming it's in good shape and I still know how to drive

it should be fine. dont mod your car unless you understand if you dont do it right, youll be on the side of the road, with no cell phone, and mommy and daddy dont know where you are.

wet systems are the most un reliable though.

Wet systems inject nitrous and the extra needed fuel in the intake track. Dry systems inject nitrous through the intake and increase the fuel pressure for the extra fuel. A Hondas intake manifold is meant to evenly distribute DRY air not wet air.

Sport Compact car did a wet system on a crx and fried the valves in cyl#3 on their FIRST dyno pull. They changed it to a NOS dry efi system that jacks up the fuel press and then ONLY when it sees the extra fuel psi it injects nitrous..

I am working on a budget; I'd like to stay under $600, hopefully lower. Who should I look to for a reliabledry system? Nitrous Express? NOS? Venom? I will probably have it installed professionally to avoid serious problems (I'm sure I'd manage to foul it up one way or another)

zex is the safest and easiest in my opinion, it's also not that expensive

does Zex make dry kits? if so, how will I know the diff between their wet and dry kits (like, if I'm looking at some on Ebay)?

since a wet kit injects nitrous and fuel at the same time the nozzle will have to inlets and one outlet. a dry kit will just be an in and out.
