Default liquid gasket

I jsut pulled the right cover of the D16z6 engine and i read in the helms manual that i need some liquid gasket. Can i use the liquid gasket from an auto store instead of going down to the dealer.

If you're talking about the valve cover, then you need to use a rubber gasket, with small dots of RTV silicone at the corners of the camshaft caps.
