Default Limited Slip Differentials

I've come to notice that at about 10 psi, in first / second gear my car will lose control if I punch it in the higher rpm. I'm wondering other then better gripping tires what kind of LSD is recommended for a D16Y7 transmission.

Thanks

phantom grips blow ***, I had one in my car and it destroyed my diff, I have some pics I should probably post :P

Personally I think LSD for the street and the track is very nice to have..

ok, i'm from "old school" diff's, so forgive me a bit. i know in my '68 cougar with a locking diff the back tires would hop on a tight curve, won't welding the diff on a front wheel drive really screw up your turning radius?

welding it would fawk it up some but not to the point where you cant street drive it, you will jsut have to do certain things differently like if you wanna do a U turn you have to go wide and so on... OPen DIFF OWNZ!!!!!!
