Default Light smoking from BRAND NEW turbo

So the civic's been done for awhile, but I havn't been driving it until my downpipe gets here. Anyways I just took it out for a test run and everything is well but does anybody have any idea why the actual turbo housing would be smoking lol. No oil leaks anywhere and it's a brand new garrett super 60 turbo. The actual casing of the turbo is smoking a little bit? Considering my past history with oil problems and ruining turbos this makes me feel uneasy. Any ideas?

what is your question. The angle/placement of the drain looks like it's going to flow smoothly. The drain is tapped just above oil level, it should be ABOVE oil level correct. And that fuel line being used, is temporary as a drain until the return line comes in.

well that's what i was thinking but i figured i'd rather post here before running it around like that and being sorry if it might have been something else. There was light oil on it when i got it so that's probably the case. I've found no signs of any oil leakage so far, so i should be pretty safe. Just trying to take every step in making sure there is no problem because this time im using a brand new $600 Garrett and not some junkyard turbo.

My turbo smokes from the center cartridge because it leaks a bit and then burns it, still good 10K later

Eh? Why?

Jimfab's are about as much as you need to spend, although there are plenty of low buck alternatives that function just as well although they don't look as slick. If you've got an ED chassis, you might want something else than Jimfab, though, I am not very happy with downpipe clearance on mine.
