leaking oil...?

ight so i finally got my motor in, i picked up the oil prime thing from the machine shop, hook it up and start to pump 3 quarts of oil into the motor. let it run for the minute like its suppose to, shut it off and check the oil level. nothing. confused, then look on the ground and all that oil is on the ground. look under the dizzy and oil is ozzying out from between the block and head. WTF. must have put the headgasket on wrong...is that possible. guess i got to pull the head and see wat i did wrong
