i'm trying to remove my knock sensor off the back of my d16y8 so i can put my new one in. but i can't get it off. i have a socket that fits it but can't seem to get it loose. anyone have any tips or tricks for this one? want to do it wile i'm changeing my oil so the filter isn't in the way.

 

spray some baby oil on it

 

what about like "liquid wrench"? would that work

let it sit overnight and give it all you got .if it strips out put a pipe wrench on it . stop being a a little bitch

 

i got the bitch off! i sprayed a little liquid wrench and put the socket on. then to get some leverage i took another socket with 2 extesions on it and put it at the bottom of the ratchet. gave me just enough leverage.

next thing to replace is my speed sensor. i have a check engine for it. i had my friends garmin in last night and my speedo is off by 3-4 mph faster then what i'm realy going.

 

ya you'll need alot of baby oil for that
