k24 from 03 accord?
anyone know anything about these, most importantly the head and its differences from that of an rsx. Ive seen wiring harnesses for the k20 into an eg(which apparently has a different kind of vtec than the accord k24), but i dont know how the k24 setup differs

Re:k24 from 03 accord?
the accord k24 dosent have "real vtec". it only has it on the intake side, and it only has 2 lobes per set of valves,1 big one and 1 little one, when ever u hit "vtec", both valves open on the bigger cam profile. only on the intake side tho. the only k24 that still uses " real vtec" is the tsx. the rsx-s and the k20 in japan also do. the crv, element, new SI,and base modle rsx use the "sissy vtec". both systems, the real and the sissy, have the ability to advance or retard the whole intake cam. ( this is the best i can remember, im shure there are other versions of cars that have diff. versions of these motors in them, across the seas). the motor u would waunt would be the jdm k20 6-speed,i think it has like 220 horses mmmmmmmmPPPPPPPIIIINNNNNNKKKKKK :P

the Crv/Element and accord have been out for awhile and have LOTS of them out there. The blocks are all usuable but u want a rsx-s (k20a2) head/IM.
