just did a compression test on my B18.....what should it be???

I opened the throttle when I tested my b16 and it was 150 in 2,3,4 and 175 in 1, those are all within the specs listed for the b16 on the electronic manual that is stickied.

yeah, maybe the numbers are withing spec, but the fact that #1 cyl. is 25 psi. higher than the others is disturbing.

I got 195 in all 4 cylinders not too long ago when I checked. My d16z6 just turned 90k miles.

distrubing as in pictures of your mom naked, or more like, "hmm, that's odd"?

maybe the number one piston is the only one that is avoiding all my abuse.

yeah, maybe the numbers are withing spec, but the fact that #1 cyl. is 25 psi. higher than the others is disturbing.

how come i burn oil when my compression checks out ok

is it the valve stems?

hey thread jacker, thats not the topic but the awnser is valve seals or turbo...or you could have some little gremlins in your motor pooring oil into the cylinders :P
