Just bought a 91 Civic Turbo the d16a6?
Hey guys I've been reading a lot on this board lately and wanted to do as much research as I could before posting.
I just bought a 91 Civic HB with a Si motor in it. Can I just turbo this motor? Some guys sugested getting a ZC motor, but money is always an issue and $600 for 20 something more hp isn't really worth it IMO. Let me know if thats a dumb statement. I was thinking of getting a T3 60 trim. Is that a good turbo for this engine? How much boost can my stock Si motor take? Suggestions are great and well appreciated. -crombie09

If it were me, I would boost the hell out of the A6.

matey, if you use the search button,
there are people boosting D16, they are good engines to boost,
but i would recommened investing money in fuel mangment.
thats what keeps the engine alive.
U go cheap.. and it will probably go boom.... (eventually)
spend abit more time reading.
Look at other peoples setup's - they might not be compatiable with your car 100%, but will give you a base like to work from.
good luck.
And may the boost be with you.
