I bought a jdm d15b for a backup motor, im running a z6 right now. But i plan sense i got it i might as well build up on it some. What whould you guys suggest. Of course the piston and rod combo. As well as some Apr rod and head bolts. And maybe me and my buddy can work is some porting on the intake manif and the head. Any suggestions

good luck finding aftermarket rods there the same oddball rods that came in a vx civic 15z1 i beleave but the pistons are basic d16 pistons what i would di is fill the block shotpeen deburrow and polish rods termal coat the piston tops and sides use arp head studds and rod bolts and run lik 12 psi on it but thats what i would do

side by side the p28 piston and the p08 piston seemed very different, lower pin location on one, making the top of the piston sit way higher.
