Default jdm h22 390cc injectors?

I'm helping a friend turbo his 93 prelude with a jdm h22 swap and I was wondering what size injectors he has stock, I've heard a few places about a prelude having 390cc injectors, if that's true on his engine what size should I get for a t3 turbo? will 450s work? could I tune 780s with a vafc?

maybe I heard 310, I knew it was 3 something. I'm doubting 780s will be small enough and I think 450s will be maxed out. he'll probably have to get some 550s or 600s.

yeah they're 345 p&h. Yeah go with something bigger than the 450's if you can. I was using the dsm 450's on my jdm h22 and they were really close to maxing out. If you could tell your friend to get the 550's and tune with uberdata. Or better yet use 880's like me :P Just playing, but with the 550's you should have enough fuel w/o worrying about maxing out the injectors.

uberdata won't work on the stock computer, the plan is to tune it with the vafc he already bought, he's only going to run 8 psi max, stock engine, doesn't want to blow it.

my bad :P I keep forgetting that everybody doesnt have a chipped p72 or p28 ecu laying around. Best bet would be is to use the vafc with some 450's. Or try to find the dsm 450's. they plug right in. And you should be fine with 8 psi. that's what i'm running now.
