Ok so a F22a1 motor has 125 hp 145 tq, and i read somewhere that the JDM F22a has 145 hp ?tq, what are the right numbers, or is there a site for all the numbers?

sounds like a f22b1 to me. and f22a1s dont have 145tq, i believe its 135. only 'jdm' f22 that i know of that we dont have here is the f22b which is pretty much the same as a h23.

there are jdm f22a sohc's and jdm f22b dohc.

the jdm f22a is said to be identical to the f22a6, but I doubt it. My friend has it in his auto and he spanks modded manual a6's. so yea, they gota be somewhat better.

I mean, most jdm engines have higher compression than the udsm models right? so what makes us believe that this one doesnt? that could be the difference in this engine.

the actual specs are still a mystery. go dyno it.

Ive looked everywhere, f22a1 is 125hp 137tq, but im not sure what the f22a one is, its probably like 130 and 142, but im not sure, im gona dyno it when the turbos done, i think im getting it today.

it should be closer to f22a6 specs. so, it should be over 140hp and 142ft-lbs.

f22a1=lx/sx
f22a6=90-91se/92-93ex

is the only diff between those two the intake manifolds?

intake manifold, exhaust manifold, cam, ecu.

the a6 has the iabs, 4-2-1 exhaust mani, better cam and ecu.

a1 has a 4-1, no iabs, pig rich ecu and weaker cam.

and for some reason, the exhuast mani in the a4 is better than the a6's 4-2-1.

well i found a web site that says its 140 hp, but it doesnt say the tq, its probably 142. im gona keep looking till i find it.

Yea i got it, F22A is the same as F22A6, so 140hp, 142 tq, good ----.
