Re:jdm d15b vtec
ok, one other question, will the starter, distributor and alternator from my 92-95 civic dx motor bolt up to the d15b vtec?

Re:jdm d15b vtec
the JDM motor is the D16, with a more agressive cam.--and at a cheaper price. it will work.--

alternator yes.. distributor no.. Stock civic dx is a d15b7 and has different mount locations on the distributor than a Vtec head so it wont mount down. But if you made some goofy mounts it will work. (I've done it myself) |
Re:jdm d15b vtec
your d15b7 distributor will work with the same modifications to fit an OBD0 distributor onto a z6 head. the top and front mount "ears" need to be slotted "towards the front". If thats teh only distributor you have, stick it on there and you'll see what i mean.
