Default ITR and twm itb setup

Hello guys.

Iīve been reading this forum for long and never participated because iīm mostly learning for some time
Right now iīm kind of desperate as iīm just next to the car writing this on the portable and i need help.
I have this integra type r with b18c6 engine. We bought a itb kit from twm (50mm) and weīve just installed it now.
THis kit was second hand but never used.
It has injectors from delphi that are part number d3181aa wich i searched and found to be 440ccīs high impedance.
I wish someone could confirm this.
Do theese injectors need resister box? I didnīt use it as i mesured their impedance and was about 14 homs.

Also i wired the tps according to the twm direction to flip the 2 outer wires from sensor.

Then right now everything is connected and the car starts.

I have crome pro and ostrich and wideband.

I picked up a stock 209 from crome, increased to 1800cc, changed to 440ccīs, installed itb tools and putted the tps values i read on the sensor (0,39v idle and 3,94 wot) and donīt have cells.
The car works at idle.

I plugged the 4 vaccum sources from the itbīs directly to map sensor.
The master celinder brake has a hose to one of the itīs to give vacuum.

Crome reads ~600-800mb MAP pressure at idle, 1% at TPS.

Problem is that at idle i get like 19 AFR and idle is jumping from 1000 to 2000.
Plugs are whitie exept for 1 that seems a litle blacker.

Can anyone please help me on this?
I have never done this kind of project.

Iīm just by ther car and if someone can help would be great!

Thanks!

the only thing i know of would be to adjust your TPS- it might help

idle ~ .45v
WOT ~ 4.5-5v

The part number which you gave is a delphi/lucas injector and has a flow rate of 42lb, which equels to 441.42cc/min, so at least you know you have 440cc injecters, also with them being 14ohms, you will not need a resisiter box, hope this helps?

I thought about that, but when i saw that in the crome plugin you can costum the values i thought that i could read what i get and setp it up in crome.
Even using this i should fine tune my TPS, ok...
Well donīt get mad at me but how can i do that?

I can give it a try right now!

Thanks a lot as i had this doubt!
Because weīre running on this engine 450ccīs and we had the resistor in place.
What i did was to rewire the 4 yellow/black cables from the resistor to the same color on injector.

I see on hondatech that someone has the idle at -350 mmHg, well i see on crome datalog about 600-800... WTF!
Is that because i pluged the map sensor directly to the 4 vacum lines from itb.

Also i see a strange thing happen... i see the inj pulsewith in crome vary from 0,7 to 6% all the time, this is normal?

Here are some pics trying to show how itīs done

From a standard map flipped to 440ccīs shouldnīt i have more or less the usual idle?
Like at idle the diference in air comming is is great?

When you guys tuned your maps did you have to add a lot of fuel when running itbīs?

Iīm worried because i get 19-20afr and why?

if thats what crome reads then ad more fuel to those columns till you get the afr to where you want it.

Rx7tocivic:

Hi! Thanks. I have already tried to add 25% more fuel in the cell and sorrounding where my idle is loged on the map, even tried to add 15% at all the part o f the map that the map controls. Still get 18afr at idle. If i went from 20-25 to 18.* from adding 25%.. well iīll have to add a LOT more fuel. This doesenīt make much sense i think. I maybe wrong.

like stock map cell used has about 100, i added to about 270 and still on 18afr.
The plugs are white except for cyl 2 that is darker than the others.
Ign at idle is about 25š.

The ideia af plugging the vac from each itb to the map is wrong?
On the tps i didnīt rev but if utīs at 1% i think itīs correctly connected.
Stock tps has blue/black/yellow and the one on the itb (that looks just like the usual honda tps) has black/white/grey(or sort).

Also i didnīt connect iacv.

when your adding 25% your not adding 25% more fuel your adding 25% more of that value. It seems odd but if you only add 10% to the value it will some times change .75-1.0 of an afr depending on the size of the injector
