Default Irregular Scratching noise in the distributor

There is an irregular scratching, squeeking, whining noise that comes from my distributor. took off the cap and didn't see anything. It started the other day and now almost always makes the noise.

bad bearing, replace the dizzy before it locks up and leaves stranded 120 miles from home...........

Only time my car has failed me.......from a non racing parts failure.

you can replace the bearing and seal in the distributor housing.
it was pretty easy, and especially worth it if you have a vtec dizzy.

but what if it has already damaged the sensors?

ignitiors and coils also where out, might as well replace the whole unit.

I've heard good about Distributor King
