Default intake manifold questions

Will a gsr intake manifold fit on a b18b? I know the b16 one won't, but what about the gsr? If not, what is different about? If its just the bolt pattern maybe that could be fixed? Ok so besides that, whats the deal with the gsr manifolds-- i read somewhere about butterflies in the manifold that open/close to create different power at different rpms-- some people just make them stay open all the time when they do swaps. Is there any advantage to have the butterflies in a boosted engine? Sorry for all the questions, i'm a curious guy. :1
