Intake manifold ports - Question

I want to clean all of the crap out of my ports, i was just wondering if the finish inside is important.

If i use a dremel with a grinding bit will it be ok (we small scores inside)

Re: Intake manifold ports - Question

You dont want it polished or anything, A little disturbance in the airflow creats better fuel atomization. Use some coarse sandpaper to finish it off.

ghetto- your right, I dont know if it would help any. All im saying is if your dremeling with some shitty bit and leaving gouges in the runners you should clean it up with sandpaper to finish it up.
