i have a z6 edelbrock intake manifold and a y8 intake manifold
i had the y8 on there and had it tuned then i put the edelbrock on and the car started and revved up all the way to redline by itself and went back down.. and it also was touching the firewall cuz its so long in an ef...

well now im putting my turbo in my other ef and im swapping to dpfi.. which intake manifold should i use or would u guys use? its going on a stock d15b2 until i can rebuild my built sohc in the meanwhile till the d15 blows up hhaa

 

thats prolly because you didnt put the intake manifold on right, a big *** leak from the im gasket, check for cracks etc.
and the edelbrock over the y8 anyday, unless its fucked up

 

i think my injectors might hav been leaking air into the cylinders cuz the fuel rail bolts up all retarded on the edelbrock and doesnt squish my rc440s down all the way

 

I had one in my crx, I had no problem with the firewall at all.

 

it was z6 edelbrock intake mani

cuz the sensor in the back that has coolant lines going to it hits the back and i gota take that off before i can get the intake manifold off the motor

It was a y8 edelbrock one, it should be the same. It was a really close fit.
