Default intake mani choice??

well im pulling my zc out when the car goes for paint soon and i am throwing a high comp. mini me together till my zc gets sleeved and built for boost.. now i am going to be using an a6 block dohc zc p29 pistons and regular pm6 rods with either a y8 or z6 head.. so im going to be about 12:1 i am also wanting to throw maybe a exospeed stage 2 cam in the mix.. now i know the regular y8 manifold flows well but i am going for a little dress up as well as this motor will be in the car till later next year when my zc is completed and i am thinking throwing either a blox intake mani on it or a skunk 2.. they are both reasonably cheap and will give me some good flow up top where vtack thrives.. which would be a better choice?? i know skunk 2 is basically hype but i know the blox flows really well on the B stuff..

for those of you not in the know here is a BLOX intake manifold

and SKUNK 2

really? so stock ported..i thought the blox and S2 looked really close to each other. would the y8 be a better choice though because of the plenum and runner combo? i know the z6 runners are great but im just wondering if the y8 manifold would be best for the better flowing y8 head.

really im trying to decide.. i have a friend that has a spare complete z6 head that he thinks just needs decked and i can get it for $60 vs finding a good condition y8 that needs nothing or just valve seals for $100+ i know the y8 head flows better and give a higher static compression but i want to kind of stick to a budget
