Default install tach? PLEASE HELP WITH WIRING

Rok i just started puting in my autometer tach, and i cant figure out how to wire it,
i have a 91 civic dx,. with a obd0 to obd1 converstion, with a ls vtec, b18a block with gsr head, now i have to run one wire to the ignation coil, , i can not figure out which wire this is, there is about 15 different wires going out of the dizzy, and it also says i have to run a wire to the 12v ign switch, anyone can he;lp me out, im stuck

What engine are you attempting to tap into an ignition signal for? You may be able to tap the wire at the ecu for an ignition signal. Or, some makes and models have a tach signal wire in the dash harness that runs to the cluster (not used on some models), you might be able to take that one also.

yeah what trance said will work. why dont you want to run it off the dizzy, dont want to run a line threw the firewall?

Check his sig... 91 hatch w/lsvtec.

I would just run it off the cluster if you can figure out which wire it is. Mine's light blue with a gray stripe on it (or gray dots)... I don't remember 100%.

What the ---- do you need a bump for? Julio just gave you the pin out with the ------- pin labeled?

Just use the H3 or 4 diagram then. Just compare the plugs.

dude... your RPM signal comes from the blue wire on the dizzy the 12V signal is easy.. grab a multimeter and find a plug in on the fuse panel unde the dash that is hot when the key is on
