As long as you burn a new bin to accomodate for them, might as well install them now. By installing things one item at a time, you can troubleshoot problems much easier down the road.

mm then i will install them in this days.. im runing w/ crome.. so i only need to change injector flow rating to 450cc , burn it and run!, right?

BTW, i will need to install fuel tools after to put new injectors flow rating? i say that cuz when i try to put new injectors, i put new injectors, click ok.. and crome just keep stock injectos though map change fuel values but if i install fuel tools and put new injectots..crome keep the new injectors flow rating ... :S , yes im still noob about tuning :-[ though the book about how to tune and modify an engine management system is helping me alot.. :)

Re: install injectors or not install?

OK walt here's what you need to do...

open up the map you've been running.

click tools,
then fuel multiplier ( i believe that's what you mean by fuel tool)
obviously enter the old, and new flow ratings, and make sure everything else is okay.
That should be enough to get it to run.

edit: i see where you found fuel tools. You don't want that. I don't know what it does so leave it alone :P

If I understand it correct, I would say you do want to use fuel tools aka fvft (final value fuel tools). The original fuel multipliers run through the map and scale the value by the multiplier, The multiplier then goes back to 1.00 as the scaling is now done. The fuel tools plugin moves the value to a permanent multiplier, and leaves the maps alone. It lets the ecu do all it's calculation, then multiplies the final value by the scaler. It allows you to change the multiplier, add an offset, etc. without changing the integrity of the maps. This should equal less fine tuning.

I'm just a noob readig about this myself, if I'm mistaken, I'm sure JD will come slander me properly.

well today i TRIED to install them but i had problems.. the stock plugs cant hook up with dsm injectors.. and the bottom seals neither..

and i broken a "seal" (i really dunno who it's called)..

http://img9.picsplace.to/img9/20/seal.jpg (look the black arrow.. this hasnt ..the seal?)

now look an injector that i found in the net..

http://img7.picsplace.to/img7/25/seal_1.jpg this HAS that seal or that thing that i dunno how it's called..

how it's called that thing what im refering?

i need a set for the dsm injectors and one for my stock injector that i broke... other thing.. how can i to remove the remainders of that seal or ---- that i broke? i tried to remove all with a screendriver but i didnt can to remove...

BTW, i installed again stock injcetors with one without the seal that i broke thought and i started the car and idle be normal and it seems to be without problems so i m worried if i can to damage that injector without that seal...

Re: install injectors or not install?

btw, its not called seals. i believe its called caps if im not mistaken. you dont need the cap. it will work fine without it. just make sure you dont drop it. they protect the pintle, be gentle when your installing them and dont drop them. It shouldnt be leaking from where the cap is at.

Re: install injectors or not install?

really? ok , when i installed back again the stock injectors, one has that "cap" broken and running fin my car.. but could damage injector runing without that "cap" ?

thx.. and i will have to found the dsm plugs.. :-\ in somewhere..

damaged injector pintle would not run properly in the engine. if the pintle is not damaged without the cap it would be fine. Like i said before its just to protect it from damaging the pintle.

No need for additional dsm plugs harness.
Tough to see in this picture, but on the 2g DSM injector connector, it has a little keyway slot that interfers with the factory honda plug. This is a real simple fix, just get a razor blade and cut the little tab right out so the plug snaps on nice and tight.
