Insane Accord Swaps
I have a friend with a '90 Accord EX with an F22A4 with automatic transmition. He was talking crazy about an NSX-R swap; I told him that the motor mounts probably aren't in the same location as the C30A Accord v6's, and that since the NSX is mid-engine, the shift linkage would go in the wrong side of the tranny for the engine to sit in front. Can the Accord v6 auto tranny bolt up? He also said that he could swap the S2000's F20C since it was still an F-series. If the F20C uses a rear drive tranny, will it still bolt to the crappy FWD 4-speed transmission? If not, will the F20C head bolt to the 2.2 block?
ps: Accords Suck Ass :) |

And if I remember right the accords that have the V6 has the frame tweaked and is like an inch or 2 wider. Do a H22 swap. Cheaper, easier.
