Re: Injectors working?

How are you checking for fuel? My fuel pump sounded like it was priming at one point, but ended up needing replaced. Also, if you are running a resistor box, double check your wiring, and make sure the resistance is right

Well I pulled out the spark plugs and I could smell fuel plus I have a Fancy B&M fuel pressure gauge on my fuel filter. What should the resistance be on the resistor pack?

Car runs now. It had nothing to do with anything other than the cylinders were dry.

disconnect your starter and crank the motor over, you should hear them make light clicking noises, and if you can't then hold a screwdriver up to them and put your ear on the screwdriver ;)

As I said before it runs but thats a cool idea with the started disconnected. Never done that before but I have used the screwdriver to listen for ticks and noises. Works well. What I ment that the cylinders were dry was the engine sat for such a long time the oil that helps seal the rings washed out and had no compression when cranking over. I had to pour oil in the spark plug holes and crank it over till it started. It took a good 3-4 cap fulls to make it work but it worked. Car runs good now.
