Re:Idle iac question

disconnect the IACV and see if it makes a diffrence. if it does it might be it, replace it with a known good one and try it again.

Re:Idle iac question

disconnect the iac with the car running, idle should be abourt 450 - 500 if not turn the screw on the throttle body to bring it to spec.. then turn the car off, remove ecu fuse to clear code. plug in iac. restart and check

Re:Idle iac question

I had the same problem. I thought it was the IACV too but I took my throttle body off and there was something rattling inside it. It was my fast idle valve that is mounted under the throttle body. You have to adjust the valve inside of it I think. My valve wasn't even screwed in. I don't know how the ---- it came out. I'm thinkin the last speed shop must of been messing with it cause they said they fixed the problem and they did but it started up again. Well hope this helps.

bouncing idle i believe that is a vacuum leak check the TB to intake mani gasket and the FITV fast idle thermo valve. Just like they said in that write up.

PS to who ever posted that write up, THANK YOU I just printed the entire thing and will be try ALL OF THOSE in the late spring ;)
