my friends car had the biggest vac leak ever the idle went from like 500rpms to ~3,000rpms

yeah i have the same prob and im pretty sure its your and my idle air control valve but u never know could be a leak

happend to me to win i try to put a d16z6 intake on my a6 block. i put all the old stuff on and it went away. im sure i didnt tighten the nuts that good

same here, on 03 eclipse gts,

this is w/o maf, bc with it, my car would stall after high rpms, now w/o it, it almost stalls when i turn it on, but then stabalizes...

turn the car on and take the iac off see if your car dies if it doesnt then prob iac
