I want to turbocharge my accord, need help
I'm currently building up my 92 accord, F22A1 engine, and i would like to put a turbo kit in it. If this is even possible, should i build it myself, or buy a kit? I'm not very familiar with this type of mod, so if anyone can tell me anything, I'll be glad to hear it, thanks!

Just read the FAQ/Forums and check out all the turbo/tech projects. After a little bit of reading you should be able to figure out everything you need to put together your own turbo kit. After doing some research if you have any specific questions feel free to ask them here.

hm, interesting. I have a few questions tho, Do you think your header causes turbulence to the point that power is lowered until the turbo tries to compensate for that? Don't most good turbo set-ups you a 4-1 collector pre-turbo to the flange? How much boost does this set-up make, do you have a guage hooked up? Did you run an EGT guage?

Re:I want to turbocharge my accord, need help
Every one says turbos are great, and i agree, but every one tells me i have to rebuild my engine in order to install one. Engine rebuils, unless u do it yur self, are an expensive and time consuming hassle, but is it really the only way to go about if I want to put a turbo on my car? I meant, theres gotta be something i can do that will allow me to install my turbo without emptying my pocket and time on a rebuild!!! help me out guys!!!!
P.S. I dont plan on turning my car into a dragster, I just want boost! so are there turbos that will not destroy my stock engine, but still give some snort to my car?
