I swapped my motor back in with a different tranny. And it will start but it will not go. When I give it gas it wants to die. Any ideas? It idles fine.. thats the odd part.

A friend of mine had this problem as well....so maybe this will help and maybe it wont. The plugs for your TPS and MAP sensor are exactly the same (depending on year of vehicle) if these get switched the car will start and idle but will do little more than that... hope this helps
