i have a 97 civic dx hb.... i just bought a front clip from a 2000 si. how hard is it to change the entire dash over to my 97? i don't want to chop up the si wiring. i want it to look factory stock. is it a unbolt and unplug swap? also...when i swap the motors...do i need the fuel pump from the si?

 

it "should" bolt right up, but i'm not positive. as far as the fuel pump goes, it's not necessary, it's prolly the same part, but it is newer.........

 

anyone know for sure?

 

i'm not really sure but what i do know is that it took me over 2 hours just to pull the dash out of my 92hb. i had to drop the steering column to the floor. what a PITA... expect the same!

I would imagine that they should just bolt up. Taking out dashes is not fun. Have done mine a few times and ended up bending a piece on my stearing column everytime. Good luck.

why are you swapping the steering column?
